Building the Audio Extraction Utility - Windows

Working with the Audio Extraction Utility on Windows requires knowledge of C and Unix. The following instructions will guide you through the process of setting up the development environment and compiling the Audio Extraction utility from the current source code.

But you probably don't want to do this. It's MUCH easier just to get the current audio extraction executable from our CVS repository, or even from a Transana version 2.20 or higher distribution.

This documentation is primarily for the benefit of the Transana development staff. It's not really official or supported, and we probably will not answer questions or help resolve problems in this area.

The first step is to install MSYS.
