Core Data help you describe a set of information.
According to http://dublincore.org, Core Data has the following fields:
Title: "A name by which the resource is formally known."
Creator: "An entity primarily responsible for making the content of the resource."
Subject: "The topic of the content of the resource."
Description: "An account of the content of the resource."
Publisher: "An entity responsible for making the resource available."
Contributor: "An entity responsible for making contributions to the content of the resource."
Date: "A date associated with an event in the life cycle of the resource." Typically, the date of creation is used. The format of the date should match the "Regional Settings" Date Tab, which is accessible through the Windows Control Panel.
Type: "The nature or genre of the content of the resource." At present, Transana supports two types, "Image" (which includes digitized video) and "Sound." While other types are possible in the Dublin Core specification, Transana only supports these types of media at this time.
Format: "The physical or digital manifestation of the resource." For Type "Image," Transana currently supports "mpeg" format, and for type "Sound," Transana currently supports "wav" and "mp3" formats.
Identifier: "An unambiguous reference to the resource within a given context." In Transana, the file name, with extension, is used as the unique identifier. Different videos should be given different names before being brought into Transana Episodes.
Source: "A reference to a resource from which the present resource is derived."
Language: "A language of the intellectual content of the resource." Dublin Core recommends using two-letter language codes following the RFC1766 standard, where English is encoded as "en."
Relation: "A reference to a related resource."
Coverage: "The extent or scope of the content of the resource." This "will typically include spatial location."
Rights: "Information about rights held in and over the resource."
