Adding Transcripts

Transcripts contain codes that indicate information about how the words were spoken in a video. Transcripts show the words spoken in the video, behaviors that accompanied the words, and gestures that accompanied the words.

Once you transcribe a video, you can insert time codes that link the spoken words and actions in the video to the transcription of the dialogue. Then you can examine them both at the same time. Transcripts of videos provide a valuable analysis tool.

When you add an Episode, Transana will prompt you to create a Transcript.
