Transana Windows

When you start Transana, you will see the Transana menu bar and four windows: the Video window, the Transcript window, the Data window, and the Sound Visualization window.

• The Video window is where video is displayed.
• The Transcript window is where a transcript is entered, displayed, and edited.
• The Data window is where you view, organize, and manipulate Transana data objects other than video files and transcriptions.
• The Sound Visualization window displays a visual representation of the audio track of the video in the form of a waveform diagram.
