Making Presentations

In presentation mode, Transana can use the full screen to play a video or display only the Video window (across the top of the screen) and the Transcript window (across the bottom).

To use presentation mode:

  1. On the "Options" menu, select "Presentation Mode."
  2. Select "Video Only."
  3. Double-click the name of a Clip ("Houses," for example).
  4. Click the "play" button on the Video window control bar.

Note:
Transana uses the entire monitor to play the Clip. Notice the control bar is still visible at the bottom of the screen so that you can stop or restart the Clip as necessary. When the Clip finishes playing, the other windows return.

Try selecting "Video" and "Transcript Only" instead of "Video Only." Notice the transcript window at the bottom of the screen. To return to regular operation, on the Options menu, select "Presentation mode"; then select "All Windows."
