Storing and accessing remote files
You can connect to a Storage Resource Broker (SRB) using the File Management
Utility. You can store the bulk of your episodes on an SRB to prevent overwhelming
your hard drive with large video files.
To connect to an SRB:
1. On the menu bar, click File.
2. Click File Management.
3. Find the file you want to upload, then click on
it. (Or open the folder where you want to save a file for download.)
4. Click the Connect button. The
SRB Connection Window will open.
5. Fill in the information given to you by your SRB
host.
6. Click the Connect button. You're
now connected to the SRB.
7. Use the Copy and Move buttons
to move your files from one server to the other. See Copying
or Moving a File.
