About Clips
A clip is a segment of your transcript. Separate your transcripts into clips so that you can focus your transcript into research-related chunks of information. You will perform the bulk of your analytic work on the clip level. Within the Transana interface, you can find each clip you create by locating the clip icon on the data window.
